Garadh a Bhagh a Tuath

Garadh a Bhagh a Tuath is a SCIO charity based on the Isle of Barra consisting of a community garden and café. We grow and sell local produce whilst helping people with additional support needs and reducing the carbon footprint of the local area.

The purpose of the Garadh is to provide volunteering and work based experiences within our local community. Improving mental health and reducing social isolation are part of our key aims.

We have volunteers and supported volunteers in both café and garden settings throughout the year and always welcome new volunteers. 

We maintain and improve physical and mental health bringing people together to increase social interaction within a warm and safe environment.
