Edinburgh Parkinson's Quality of Life Group

This is a Claimed service
Delivered by: Parkinson's UK Scotland This is a Claimed organisation
Last updated: 17/06/2024

A self-led peer support group by people who have Parkinson's. We exchange information about what works for us as individuals. We learn how to deal emotionally with what the world throws at us now that we have PD; how to maintain our sense of humour and our fighting spirit. Spontaneous comments include “It’s so good to be able to talk about Parkinson’s without boring anyone!” and “The feeling of understanding and companionship was heart-warming.”

  • The Group currently meets monthly via Zoom at 2pm on the first Thursday of the month. Email or phone Alison Williams. Updated 17.6.24
