Dance for Parkinson's

Last updated: 12/09/2024

This is a welcoming class for anyone who is part of the Parkinson’s community, whether you have a diagnosis or are supporting someone living with Parkinson’s.

No prior dance experience is needed, and we encourage you to share your hobbies, interests, and ideas, as we love incorporating them into our dances.

The class begins with a seated start and ends with a relaxing tea break. It's thoughtfully designed to gently warm the body and foster a sense of flow, supported by music we enjoy. We take our time learning new routines and building skills together, offering mutual support along the way.

Laughter is a big part of our sessions, especially when things don't go as planned. Each person is encouraged to work in a way that best suits their body and how they're feeling, with plenty of options to adapt.
