Edinburgh Young People with Parkinsons Support Group (Working Age)

This is a Claimed service
Delivered by: Parkinson's UK Scotland This is a Claimed organisation
Last updated: 10/03/2025

A friendly, active social group for people of working age who have Parkinson’s. We understand what it’s like to be diagnosed with and to live with early-onset Parkinson’s.

Anyone of working age wherever they live is welcome as well as their partner, friends or family members.

We get together on the first Thursday of each month from 6.30 pm. We have an informal, private function room reserved for our use by The Steading, 118-120 Biggar Road Edinburgh, EH10 7DU. Occasionally, we have guest speakers to talk about research, welfare benefits or activities beneficial to People with Parkinson's.

Please note that there is a flight of stairs up to the room in the conservatory and no lift.

From time to time we have outings as well as a Christmas lunch/dinner.

Please contact Scott Wilson for more information.
