Transport To Health Care Information Centre (THInC)

Our advice line provides help for residents of Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire who struggle to get to health or social care appointments because they don’t know how to find out about transport.

If you can use public transport we will recommend which bus and/or train service to use and we will work out the best travel times to get you to and from your appointment. We can also provide advice on reclaiming travel expenses from NHS Grampian if applicable.

If you cannot use public transport we will advise you of any alternative transport that might be able to help you, for example, volunteer car schemes, and how much this costs.

The THInC advice line is open between 9.00 am and 4.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays.
