Vocational and Employment Support for Young People

Last updated: 07/01/2020

RUTS vocational support is typically delivered through the themes of motorbikes, bicycles and boxing – with the central focus being on an introduction to mechanics and practical activities, health and wellbeing.

Each of our programmes offer the opportunity to complete a nationally recognised (either SQA or SCQF) qualification. RUTS are also a provider of Employability Fund and therefore can offer structured employability support. More info on what RUTS offer can be found on our website (www.ruts.org.uk).

Our current match-funding dictates that our target age group to engage is those aged 16-25, however we do have some provisions suitable for young people from the age of 14. In the absence of funding, there is a cost to access our programmes.
