A 6 week self-management course introducing positive life habits and coping strategies to people living with a visual impairment. The course will support participants to better manage daily life and maximize independent living skills via guided practical sessions. The course will inform participants and their family or carer on healthy foods & diet, improving kitchen safety and accessibility, increasing your awareness in assistive technology, increasing confidence with mobility and reducing falls, and offer emotional support with mental well-being strategies. The course is delivered by a team of professionals including a dietician, occupational therapist and therapeutic movement practitioner.
