This service supports the provision of special equipment to enable people to live independently and safely in their own home. Equipment will be provided following an assessment by Occupational Therapy staff or other Health Care Professional. The store has a fully stocked warehouse where orders are processed. Delivery of equipment will be undertaken by trained staff at a mutually arranged time. The store also has a technician who will fit grab rails and carry out minor alterations as requested by the Occupational Therapist. A full maintenance and repair service for equipment supplied by Bon Accord Care is arranged through the store. When no longer required the service will collect equipment for recycling and the store has a dedicated decontamination facility on the premises.
