Local Citizens Panels
This is a Claimed service
Local Citizens Panels (LCPs) bring the voices of learning disabled adults and their family carers to the tables where policy and practice are developed in Scottish Borders.
The Panels are supported to ensure that those with lived experience play an active role in shaping services through the Health and Social Care Partnership, as well as influencing services and supports in the wider community.
There are five LCPs in the Borders, each meeting four times a year and bringing together a diverse range of individuals who want to make sure every learning disabled person in Scottish Borders can have a good life. Meetings happen in:
- Berwickshire
- Kelso and Coldstream
- Hawick and Jedburgh
- Galashiels and Selkirk
- Tweeddale.
New members or visitors who want to sample the LCPs are always welcome!
