Exercising and staying active is important for those affected by Cystic Fibrosis to help improve and maintain fitness, and more importantly lung function.

Though our ‘Get Active’ initiative we are supporting young people with CF with the provision of sport/fitness equipment or gym/sports club memberships.

In conjunction with the CF Physiotherapist, applicants will also have individually tailored exercise programmes that are regularly monitored to assess progress.

Children may apply for one of the following:

  • Bike + helmet
  • Trampoline
  • Sports Club Membership Fees
  • Wii Fit
  • Activity Gym (under 5's only)

Adults may apply for one of the following -

  • Exercise Bike
  • Road Bike
  • Treadmill
  • Gym Membership x 6 months
  • Wii Fit

Other sports equipment may also be considered.

Get Active application forms are available from your CF Physiotherapist who will be happy to help you complete the form and will return it.
