Children and young people affected by a loved one's diagnosis of a life limiting illness and/or who have been bereaved of a loved one are supported through a range of 1:1 and group based support services.


Support services include:


Emotional support sessions - Encourage and support children and young people to explore and freely express their feelings, to increase understanding of their emotions and develop the skills and confidence to openly talk about their own anxieties and worries.


Peer support group - Provides opportunities to engage with and learn from others who are in a similar situation to them through therapeutic arts, physical activities and workshops.


Play Therapy- Utilising play as a way of helping children and young people understand and express their thoughts and feelings.


Therapeutic resources - A range of therapeutic and creative resources, specifically aimed at children and young people who have been affected by bereavement of a life-limiting illness of a loved one.
