Western Isles Cancer Care Initiative (WICCI)
Support, non-clinical advice and information for anyone affected by cancer, living in the Western Isles.
In a unique partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, we provide many services to help and support people affected by cancer in the Western Isles, through the provision of financial support, access to complementary therapies to help relieve some of the emotional and physical side effects from cancer, access to counselling support for all stages of the impact of cancer and also the provision of care boxes, available to anyone in the Western Isles who is starting treatment. We also provide high quality information, leaflets, signposting to other services, wig fitting service and social groups such as a Stoma Support Group, Ladies Cancer Support Group and Arts & Crafts group.
