Scottish Scrabble Association

Scottish Scrabble Association Logo

The SSA was set up in 2001 to promote Scrabble in Scotland and to represent the interests of Scottish players. We organise and run tournaments, including the Scottish Championship, our two-day flagship event which usually takes place in May in Perth.

We also administer the Scottish League team competition and the Scottish Individual League and Knockout (SILK).

The rules and rating system of the Association of British Scrabble Players (ABSP) are used throughout Britain. The ABSP website contains lots of useful information for players at all levels.
