Mindroom - Children and Young People Service
We provide 1:1 advocacy and support to neurodivergent children and young people aged up to 25 through our Children and Young People Service. No diagnosis is required to access support.
This individualised support aims to help children and young people take part in decisions affecting their lives, understand their rights, develop understanding of self and neurodiversity and communicate their needs to others to help them access appropriate support. We agree a plan with each child or young person to address issues that are important to them. These issues can relate to education, health, social care or youth justice but are happy to discuss other challenges the child or young person is experiencing. Children and Young People can contact the service directly or adults supporting them can contact us on their behalf.
Available support may vary by Local Authority. Please contact us to discuss individual requirements.
