Huggadrum
Huggadrum uses drums and percussion to provide drum circles that provide a range of benefits and outcomes. No experience is required and participants are guided through a rhythmic journey that involves, sharing, listening, playing, emotional expression and, most importantly, Fun! It allows non-verbal communication to evolve in a safe and respectful way.
Huggadrum is led by Angus McCurrach who has worked in counselling, addictions, special needs, musical therapy, ADHD as well as general community groups. Angus is a member of the Drum Facilitators Guild.
Angus has produced various programmes for specific groups, for example, Recovery from addiction, managing stress and has worked in day centres for those will special needs. Angus has degrees in Psychology and PG Diplomas in social science.
